Southern Taiwan: Public Officials Support Criminal Complaints against Jiang Zemin

September 08, 2015 | By Sun Bai and Su Rong in Taiwan

( In support of the wave of lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) dictator, more than 180,000 Taiwanese have signed criminal report forms against him.

Jiang Zemin created a 21st century human rights crisis by ordering the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999. Over the course of the brutal 16-year repression, practitioners have been subjected to torture and forced organ harvesting while they were still alive.

Elected and other public officials in southern Taiwan have openly voiced their support for the effort to bring Jiang to justice.

(From left) Legislator Tai-hua Lin, legislator Chun-yi Li, and Council member Tsingsheng Li condemned the CCP’s crime of organ harvesting and declared their support for the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin.

Chinese government must bring ‘human rights villains’ to justice

Ms. Tai-hua Lin, a legislator from Fengshan Kaohsiung City, commented on the CCP’s live organ harvesting during a publishing event for a book about the persecution of Falun Gong. She said that the human rights villains who persecute Falun Gong practitioners must be brought to justice and tried in the judicial system.

Ms. Lin said, “Falun Gong practitioners have been through a rough situation in pursuing freedom of faith and speaking out against the persecution, but they are not alone. People are giving (Falun Gong) solid support. We call on the current leaders of China to take down the human rights villains the same as corrupt officials, reestablish a justice system and uphold human rights in China.”

Concerning the safety of the Chinese practitioners who filed lawsuits against Jiang, she urged non-governmental organizations from both China and overseas to protect them.

Chinese government must decide on how to deal with Jiang Zemin and stop the persecution as soon as possible

Expressing his support for the lawsuits and criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, Mr. Chun-yi Li, a legislator from Jiayi City, said that the Chinese government should decide how to deal with Jiang and stop the persecution as soon as possible.

Mr. Chun-yi Li said, “Taiwan and China share the same weal and woe, so we cannot ignore the human rights violations in China. The world will support the lawsuits against Jiang and pressure Chinese leaders to stop this evil persecution and bring the persecutors to justice. The two sides of the strait can have a future only based on peace and humanity.”

Chinese regime must face the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin

When he heard about the wave of lawsuits against Jiang, Mr. Tsingsheng Li, Council Member from Pingtung City, signed a criminal report form against Jiang and invited several city administrators to also sign it.

“Jiang Zemin persecuted Falun Gong and ordered the forced live organ harvesting. Now he is being sued all over the world. The current Chinese leaders must face the will of the people, bring Jiang Zemin to justice and return Falun Gong practitioners to innocence and justice,” said Tsingsheng Li.

Forced organ harvesting is against humanity

President of Tsao’s Clinic of Plastic Surgery Tsao Ci-bing emphasized that the world must condemn the CCP’s organ harvesting crimes and must not ignore the meaning and value of human rights.

He urged the people of Taiwan not to go to China for organ transplantation, as it too often results in the murder of an innocent life.

Veterinarian Mr. He was shocked to learn the Communist regime is harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. He said, “The regime’s organ harvesting is very cruel and brutal. This is not tolerated by heavenly law.” He said that he planned to invite more colleagues to sign the criminal report forms against Jiang.

Dentist Huang Shenggong added that the Communist Party will quickly collapse because of the organ harvesting.

10,000 Lawyers in Taiwan Should Promote Lawsuits against Jiang

Tseng Chin-yuan, human rights lawyer, signed a criminal report form against Jiang Zemin and called on fellow lawyers to participate. Mr. Tseng said, “It can be called the most important lawsuit of the 21st century. Participating in the criminal report against Jiang is very meaningful. If you don’t help save the Falun Gong practitioners today, you might be the next victim tomorrow.”

“There are more than 10,000 lawyers in Taiwan,” he added. “We should be courageous enough to support and help victims of the persecution to file lawsuits. We can also directly file criminal reports against Jiang, and request that Jiang be tried in court.”

Mr. Chian You-ze, a professor from the National Kaohsiung University of Applied Science and director of the National Institute of Die Technology Development, often travels to China on business and is well aware of the information censorship there.

“Chinese people generally are not happy with their government but they still don’t believe what I tell them about the free world outside,” he said. “The regime’s obscurantist policies have deeply poisoned the population.”

Mr. Chian added, “It is painful to know about the regime’s organ harvesting business. I hope that the world’s people who have a conscience will speak up for justice and stop the persecution immediately.”

Mr. Weng Chong-wei, General Secretary of the Chinese Music Culture and Education Foundation, said, “We expect the day without the Communist Party to arrive soon. Based in Taiwan, we will work hard to revive the traditional culture of China and end the brutal communist rule in China. Falun Gong practitioners in China: The people of Taiwan support you!”

Australia: Falun Gong Practitioners March in Downtown Sydney

September 08, 2015

( Falun Gong practitioners who were attending the cultivation experience sharing conference in Sydney held a grand march in the downtown area on September 4, 2015.

The march, led by the Divine Land Marching Band, began at Hyde Park, proceeded along Park and College Streets, and ended at Domain Park. The procession included three teams, themed in “Falun Dafa is Good,” “16-Year-Long Peaceful Resistance,” and “Supporting the Chinese Withdrawals from the Communist Party.” Practitioners also performed waist drums and demonstrated the exercises.

Many people saw the march, as it was held during the lunchtime hour on a weekday. Spectators took videos and photos, accepted Falun Gong informational materials, and signed a petition to support Falun Gong’s peaceful resistance to the ongoing persecution in China.

Philip Nat, a computer engineer, said he had seen many Falun Gong activities in multiple cities, but he had never seen such a large-scale march.

“The large-scale march with the band is really eye-catching. It is a great way to draw the public’s attention,” Philip said, “The traditional Chinese culture demonstrated in the march is appealing. People like the Australian and Chinese songs played by the band. Many people can learn about the persecution of Falun Gong in China through the march.”

Local banker Kiashe Genan knows well about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. He said that suppression of a peaceful group by the government is horrible, especially the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from Falun Gong.

“The worst thing is that the international community has not paid enough attention to these crimes, because of trade with China,” Kiashe said, “I believe that Australians should stand out and help to end the persecution. People should ask the parliament members to take action.”

Union member Geff Carit was attracted to the Falun Gong meditation. “I am learning meditation, and I am happy to see it in the march. I heard about the persecution of Falun Gong, but I didn’t know that Falun Gong includes meditation. Had I known it, maybe I would be in the march too,” he said.

Geff condemned the persecution, and said he believed that the major instigator, Jiang Zemin, who launched and directed the persecution, should be brought to justice. He said, “The Australian minister of foreign affairs should speak out and help to stop the persecution. We should also call upon the parliament members for help.”

“Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is a great truth. I will learn more about it from the Internet, and share this with my friends,” Geff said.

A young man from Taiwan followed the march along the entire route, and talked to practitioners for a long time after the march.

He heard about Falun Gong in Taiwan, but he thought it is just a qigong practice, and didn’t understand why Falun Gong seemed to be involved in politics.

“But today, after I listened to several Falun Gong practitioners’ personal experiences of being tortured in China, I realize what Falun Gong wants is the basic human right—the freedom of belief. The persecution is unacceptable.”

“In my opinion, Falun Gong is also different than other qigong schools,” he said, “because practitioners follow the principle of ‘truthfulness-compassion-forbearance’.” He smiled, saying, “I’ve learned a lot today.”

Righteous Thoughts Overcome Police Brutality

September 08, 2015 | By Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Qin in Jiamusi City, China

( Eight police officers came to my house on July 28, 2015. When they entered my bedroom, some pinned me to the bed, while others ransacked my home.

They refused to respond when I told them that they were breaking the law. When they found some Falun Gong flyers and DVDs, they dumped them on the floor.

“Do you know why we are here?” one of the officers demanded. “You mailed a criminal complaint, didn’t you? We are here because of that!” Then they arrested me.

Just a Piece of Meat on a Cutting Board

They tied me to an iron chair at the police station. They demanded that I sign their interrogation report, which I refused.

“You filed a false accusation against our former leader. You must sign it,” they said.

He showed me my complaint and asked if I had prepared it.

“Yes, this was prepared by me,” I said. “Jiang Zemin has persecuted so many good people, and he is responsible for the crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. What you are doing is against the law. The government said that every case would be reviewed.”

“I don’t care what you say,” responded one of the officers. “Here you are just a piece of meat on a cutting board. Sign the paper now or I will break your fingers.”

After a physical examination at the Central Hospital, the police took me to a detention center. On the way there I constantly sent the righteous thought that the center would not accept me.

Sure enough, within 30 minutes after we arrived, these thoughts took effect. “We do not accept anyone who filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin,” a detention center official said.

I was back home the next afternoon. After sorting through my belongings, I noticed that the police had confiscated all my Falun Gong books, a computer, a printer, and dozens of Falun Gong DVDs, among other personal items.
