Valeri Oparychue learns the third set of Falun Gong exercises.

Local realtor Valeri Oparychue was attracted to the group exercises. He stood behind practitioners, and imitated the movements for a while. A practitioner subsequently taught him all five sets of exercises. Valeri said that he was excited and felt very good. He said he felt that Falun Gong would improve his body and mind.

Valeri was glad to hear that there is an exercise site right in front of the parliament building. He said, “I really want to practice Falun Gong,” and said that he would like to join the site.

Sam Rubimosi, a student from Carleton University, watched the group exercises for a while. “I’ve never seen this before. It looks great.” he said.

Sam Zivi, a local artist, was horrified upon learning that such a peaceful group was being persecuted in China. Regarding the Chinese state-sanctioned organ harvesting, he said he felt that the Communist Party was crazy. “It is everybody’s basic human right and basic freedom to practice what they want,” he said.

Singapore: Calling to Bring Former Chinese Leader to Justice Prior to Xi Jinping’s Visit

November 04, 2015 | By a Falun Gong practitioner in Singapore

( A large banner reading “Global Support for Lawsuits in China against Jiang Zemin’s Crime in Falun Gong Persecution” in both Chinese and English and similar banners were displayed in Hong Lim Park in Singapore on November 1, 2015.

It was part of the peaceful demonstration held by Falun Gong practitioners prior to the upcoming visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping on November 6-7. Practitioners called upon Xi to hold Jiang Zemin accountable for initiating and directing the 16-year persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Practitioners in Singapore rally in Hong Lim Park on November 1, 2015 to raise awareness of Chinese Communist Party’s atrocities against Falun Gong.

Many passersby stopped to learn about the persecution and the lawsuits against Jiang. Many signed criminal report forms as they learned that more than 190,000 Chinese people have filed criminal complaints against Jiang since May in China and about 770,000 people in the Asian countries have signed criminal report forms since April to support the efforts to prosecute Jiang.

People sign to support the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin

Mark Ward who works in the financial industry in Australia was traveling in Singapore with his family. “It’s unacceptable,” he said of the forced organ harvesting crimes against living Falun Gong practitioners. “Only by the awakening of the Chinese people, can the Chinese Communist Party’s killing and atrocities be stopped,” he added. He and his wife signed criminal report forms in support of the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin.

“Forced organ harvesting is inhuman, and should be stopped,” said another passerby Zarifah Zohri, a Malaysian who works as an assistant at a clinic in Singapore. She said she hopes that the perpetrators will be held accountable.

Mr. Chen Yuan, a 47-year-old psychologist and native Singaporean, also signed a criminal report form. He said that Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts to raise awareness of the persecution helps many people learn what’s really happening in China. He mentioned that he had seen many similar Falun Gong events at tourists attractions in Hong Kong, Malaysia and other countries.

“I’ll look into it [the persecution] after getting home,” said another Singaporean. “I’ll come to support if you hold such activities again.”

Police in Liaoning Province Harass Practitioners for Suing Jiang Zemin

November 05, 2015 | By a Minghui correspondent in Liaoning Province, China

( Officers from six police stations in Dandong City, Liaoning Province, harassed Falun Gong practitioners on October 13-20, 2015, for filing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese communist regime.

Police interrogated and demanded that 12 practitioners come to the police station for questioning. The focus of the questioning centered on the practitioners’ degree of involvement in suing Jiang, and with practicing Falun Gong.

However, the practitioners responded with clear and concise answers. Most police officers were polite as a result. Nonetheless, the belongings of some practitioners were confiscated.

Police React to Suing Jiang Zemin

Officers from the Zhenzhulu Police Station arrested Mr. Sun Xianying, 73. At the police station, they interrogated him in a basement for 33 hours on October 13. He was released after the police tried three times unsuccessfully to transfer him to a detention center.

Officers from the Linjiang Police Station questioned practitioners Ms. Lan and Ms. Zhang Hong.

Officers from the Xingdong Police Station demanded that Mr. Song Zhendong come to the police station, where he was questioned upon arriving. They ransacked his home and found about 80 Falun Gong books.

Officers from the Liudao Border Police Station demanded that Mr. Wei Liming come to the police station, where he was questioned.

Officers from the Liudaogou Border Police Station went to Mr. Shao Zhongye and Ms. Wang Xueying’s home to question them. They were ordered to sign a statement, but refused.

Officers from the Maokuishang Police Station arrested practitioners Mr. Cui, Mr. Yang, and Mr. Xie, and confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong at Mr. Xie’s home. They also confiscated the introduction to Zhuan Falun, Falun Gong’s main book, at Mr. Yang’s home.

In 1999, Jiang Zemin, then head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.

The persecution has killed countless Falun Gong practitioners during the past 16 years. Many have been murdered for their organs. Others have been imprisoned and tortured for their belief. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of this brutal persecution.

Under Jiang’s direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security force, the 610 Office, on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides the police and judicial system. The 610 Office carries out Jiang’s directive to eradicate Falun Gong: ruin practitioners’ reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Jiang stepped down as head of the CCP in 2002, but he has exerted much power from the shadows through a network of officials he put in place.

Chinese law now allows citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
