Shandong Man, 35, Dies within Months of Being Assaulted

March 27, 2016 | By a Minghui correspondent from Shandong Province, China

(Minghui.org) A 35-year-old man from Yanggu County died several months after he was assaulted by security guards at a local military academy.

Mr. Sun was talking to several students about the persecution of Falun Gong on November 9, 2015, when he was seized by school security personnel. They beat him so severely that he had a gaping hole in his skull. His family wonders whether he was also drugged, because he appeared disoriented and was foaming at the mouth by the time he managed to get back home.

He was not able to recover despite medical intervention and recently passed away. The exact date of his death remains to be investigated.

The local police did nothing to prosecute the security guards and claimed that Mr. Sun died after jumping from a tall building.

Mr. Sun once had his home ransacked and was temporarily detained after he filed a lawsuit against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin for initiating the brutal 17-year persecution of Falun Gong.
