A Speedy Recovery from Skull Fractures after Supporting Falun Dafa

November 09, 2016 | By Dafa practitioner Li Lian in Yantai City, Shandong Province, China

(Minghui.org) I used to suffer from a number of chronic diseases, which were all healed after I started practicing Falun Dafa. My adherence to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance convinced my family of the goodness of Falun Dafa. Consequently, when the former Chinese Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin began the persecution of Falun Dafa p in 1999, my husband continued to support me, even under extreme duress.

While on his way to work in 2006, my husband was knocked down by a young, speeding motorcyclist and was taken to hospital for emergency treatment. I rushed to the hospital as soon as I received news of the accident.

The doctor invited me into his office and briefed me on my husband’s condition. Besides severe cranial bone fractures at the base and top of his skull, my husband also had major cerebral hemorrhages in two places.

Faced with a such a dire diagnosis, the doctor proposed a craniotomy to treat my husband’s injuries. My husband was horrified and rejected the proposed treatment. Even his brother was unable to convince him to undergo the surgery. As my husband refused to be swayed, the doctor decided to perform another CT scan the following day and asked us to consider transferring him to another facility if his condition worsened.

I firmly thought, “I have Master’s protection. There is nothing to fear.” I asked Master to save him and instructed my husband to sincerely repeat, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

The next day the doctor examined the new CT scans and discovered that my husband’s injuries were recovering rapidly. The doctor was dumbfounded! Thirteen days after the accident my husband was discharged from the hospital.

The young motorcyclist’s father had been present while the doctor briefed us about my husband’s condition, but he left after hearing that a craniotomy was required. Faced with the prospect of having to pay between 100,000 and 80,000 yuan (~US$14,800 and ~$11,800) for my husband’s surgery, he refused to acknowledge responsibility.

I paid the motorcyclist’s family a visit after my husband was released from the hospital and clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to them. I told them Dafa was responsible for my husband’s miraculous recovery and reassured them that I would not ask for compensation. I asked them only to remember that “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

Two Shandong Women Remain Detained for Distributing Information about Falun Gong

October 16, 2016 | By a Minghui correspondent in Shandong Province

(Minghui.org) Three Yinan County residents were arrested on October 8 for distributing information about Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime.

Two of them had their blood forcibly drawn and homes ransacked. Both remain detained at the time of writing.

Ms. Meng Xianglan, Ms. Meng Xiangling, and Ms. Liu Xin were driving around and passing out Falun Gong materials in neighboring Mengyin County when they were spotted by plainclothes officers.

The police surrounded the three women and searched their car. A two-year-old boy in Ms. Liu’s care was so frightened that he couldn’t stop crying.

Ms. Meng Xianglan was slammed to the ground as she struggled to get away.

The police interrogated the three women separately and discovered that both Ms. Meng Xianglan and Ms. Meng Xiangling were once detained in labor camps for practicing Falun Gong. They moved quickly to ransack the two women’s homes and confiscated their valuables totaling more than 30,000 yuan. The confiscated items include computers, printers, cell phones, Falun Gong books and materials, as well as other personal belongings.

The police next forcibly drew their blood before transferring them to an unknown location.

Ms. Liu was released with the boy late that night.

Prison Guards: “We Simply Don’t Treat Falun Gong People as Humans”

July 28, 2016 | By a Minghui correspondent in Shandong Province, China

(Minghui.org) Two Falun Gong practitioners in Shandong Province were illegally arrested for disseminating information about Falun Gong and the persecution and were taken to the Shandong Province Women’s Prison in Jinan City.

The practitioners told of the inhuman treatment they experienced while incarcerated, especially solitary confinement.

The guards placed practitioners in a solitary confinement cell if they refused to give up Falun Gong. The cells are small and dark, with a cold cement floor. There is only a small stool in the cell.

Practitioners ate, slept, and relieved themselves in the small cell. They were locked in the room for a long time, without sunlight or fresh air. Additionally, they were not allowed to have contact with their families or anyone else.

The winter in Jinan City is cold and harsh. Practitioners in solitary were not provided a winter jacket, but only long underwear. They were given just a thin blanket which did not keep them warm.

It was impossible to get any sleep on the cold floor because of the freezing temperature. Practitioners had to walk around to try to get warm.

Lack of sleep gave them headaches. Without any furnishing and given the severe cold, their bones ached, and their muscles cramped. Many practitioners became ill and developed a high fever.

Jinan City is like a furnace in the summer. The small isolation cells can reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit and the ventilation is poor. Practitioners who weren’t well to begin with often fainted after being in the small cell for a short period of time.

The female guards would not provide toilet paper or feminine hygiene products to practitioners in the small cell.

When asked why they were so inhuman toward practitioners, the guards responded, “We simply don’t treat Falun Gong people as humans.”
