Shenyang City Geologist Sentenced to Three Years During Secret Trial

September 30, 2016 | By a Minghui correspondent from Liaoning Province

(Minghui.org) Mr. Lian Jing, a retired geologist from Shenbei New District, was sentenced to three years incarceration following a recent secret trial in Shenbei New District Court.

According to the court staff, Mr. Lian insisted that he was innocent during the trial.

Mr. Lian, in his late 60’s, was talking to a soldier about the persecution of Falun Gong outside an army camp on April 26, 2016. The young soldier refused to listen. Instead, he physically attacked an elderly man and called the police.

Some police officers came to Mr. Lian’s house in the evening, and told Mr. Lian’s wife, “Your husband was beaten up by soldiers at the Liuwang Army Camp. We received a phone call and arrested him.

Following a home search, the police confiscated Falun Gong books, truth clarification materials, and a computer.

After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Falun Gong, Mr. Lian refused to stop practicing. Thus, he was given a 15 months term and taken to a labor camp in 2002.

Life Before Cultivation

Earlier in his career, Mr. Lian spent years surveying the outdoors. During one expedition, he fell from a tree and sustained a serious concussion. Despite frequent hospital visits and medication, he was not able to recover his health. He suffered from headaches and dizziness for many years.

After Mr. Lian began to practice Falun Gong in the 1990’s, he completely recovered. He no longer had any headaches, and recovered from his other illnesses.

One day he was hit by a vegetable vendor’s tricycle and fell to the ground. Bystanders saw the accident and blamed the vendor for it. They demanded the vendor take Mr. Lian to a hospital. Mr. Lian used all his strength to stand up, and told the vendor to leave. After a few days, Mr. Lian was fine.

Shenyang Practitioners Arrested for Talking about Falun Dafa

July 24, 2016 | By a Minghui correspondent in Liaoning Province, China

(Minghui.org) Six Falun Dafa practitioners from Kangping County, Shenyang City, were arrested on June 24, 2016, while they were talking to people in the countryside about the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Two elderly practitioners were released that evening due to their old age. One practitioner escaped, and practitioner Ms. Tang Xiuxia was released the next day after the detention center refused to admit her due to her high blood pressure. Ms. Wang Hongying and Ms. Zhao Xiujuan were detained for three days and released on bail, pending trial. They’ve been harassed twice since their release.

The Arrest

Officers led by Wang Shunde, director of Beisiiazi County Police Station, arrested the six practitioners and took them to the police station.

The practitioners told the officers that the persecution of Falun Dafa is lawless and wrong, but Wang refused to listen. He claimed, “I will send you to jail even if I receive retribution.”

Wang ordered the blood tests administered to the three practitioners at 10:00 p.m. that night.

Doing Whatever He Could to Detain Practitioners

Preparing for their detention, Wang took the three practitioners to a hospital for the physical exams required by the detention center. Ms. Tang’s blood pressure reached 180 mmHg, and Ms. Wang’s reached 190 mmHg. But Wang insisted on taking them to the Shenyang Detention Center.

Wang tried to hide the fact that the two practitioners had high blood pressure. But the guard at the detention center took their blood pressure and refused to admit the two practitioners because of their high blood pressure.

Wang then took them to a hospital and forced them to take medication to lower their blood pressure. Ms. Wang took the medication, but Ms. Tang spit hers out. Wang ordered five officers to hold Ms. Tang and force her to take the pill, but her blood pressure still remained high.

Wang took Ms. Tang to a different hospital for another physical exam, and her blood pressure was still high. They took her back to the detention center, and the detention center still refused to admit her. They had to release her the next day.

Harassed After Release

Ms. Wang and Ms. Zhao were detained at the detention center. They were released on bail, pending trial, on June 27. Wang ordered officers to harass them on June 30 and July 1. Officers confiscated personal belongings from the practitioners, and they also tried to obtain information about the practitioner who escaped on the night of their arrests.

Investigation Leads: Matching Organ Found Within 10 Days in Shenyang Military Region General Hospital

Investigation Leads: Matching Organ Found Within Ten Days in General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region

Ms. Wei Fengqin from Shahe Town, Yitong County, Jilin Province, obtained a heart transplant in the General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region at 10 a.m. on November 17, 2012. Within 10 days of initial testing for Ms. Wei’s transplant, a matching organ was found.

The hospital claimed the heart came from a 31-year-old male inmate who was executed. The hospital asked the patient to provide detailed information including her family income. The patient was asked to keep the organ source information confidential. Ms. Wei’s doctor was Dr. Wu.

Dr. Wu was seen walking out of the hospital clutching a case in his hand on the morning of November 17, 2012. Two hours later he returned to the hospital with the same case and entered the operating room. The surgery lasted until 4:40 p.m.

Three other patients in the hospital obtained new organs at the same time. Ms. Wei Fengqin was chosen to receive the heart transplant.

Under normal circumstances, it is impossible to find a matching organ within 10 days. The place where executions are carried out was by far more than two hours away from the hospital. The CCP must have an enormous live organ bank. It is suspected that organs are still being harvested from illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners.

Investigation Leads: Four Liver Transplant Surgeries for Three Patients in Anshan in One 24-Hour Period

After reading the investigation leads from a soldier in Dandong City, published on the Minghui website (Suspected Link to Organ Harvesting: Soldier Recalls a Chilling Event), I recalled something my friend in Anshan told me.

My friend’s colleague had a liver transplant at the Oriental Organ Transplant Centre in 2007. My friend was assigned by his company to take care of his colleague that day. He said three patients including his colleague had liver transplant surgeries at the same center on the same day.

Dr. Shen Zhongyang, Director of the Oriental Organ Transplantation Centre and Director of the Institute of Liver Transplantation at General Hospital of Armed Forces, was the surgeon for my friend’s colleague. His first surgery failed.

However, a new liver arrived 21 hours later. Dr. Shen did another liver transplant on my friend’s colleague, which extended his life for six months. The other two patients’ surgeries were successful.

I told my friend about the Chinese Communist Party’s crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. My friend said he and his colleague had been surprised how fast the second liver became available, because they knew that it would take a long time to find a donor that would match all the required criteria. He recalled that his colleague was charged 130,000 yuan for the second liver.

Four people were killed for their livers in order for those four liver transplants to take place on that day.
